WEA's Public Meeting

Windsor Endowment for the Arts is beating the drum for its future. On March 4, 2009 the Malborough Elementary School drum line helped WEA herald plans for an expanded program to recognize, celebrate and invest in the arts and artists of Windsor-Essex.
Since our inception in 1998, WEA's long-term vision has been to establish a permanent and independent source of financial support for the city's arts and artists. Over time our endowment has gradually grown through the public awareness generated by events like CarTunes on Parade, the annual Walk for a Creative City and the Arts Leadership Awards.
Building on the Arts Leadership Awards we are launching a new grants program to drive forward the growth of our endowment and secure the future of the city's arts and cultural life.
"We believe that together we can forge a new vision, make the vision a reality and foster our creative community." Carolyne Rourke, President, Windsor Endownment for the Arts.
